Aaron and I live on a Farm in Mason MI. We are slowly building our dream. Lots of renovations are happening and many plans to make better. We want to have a place people can come to learn about animals and grow to appreciate them as much as we do. Animals are such healers, trainers, and inspirers.

I've worked at many Therapeutic riding stables as an instructor, other barns as an instructor and horse trainer, and dog training and boarding facilities. I started doing my own stuff from home and doing house and barn calls.... Things were getting busy that way, so we decided to start a business from our farm. It has been a dream of mine to do my own thing and give lessons and train dogs/horses/people as well as breed amazing dogs. We want people to have good relationships with animals as well as get healing from them.

Aaron is a State Trooper and loves his job. He has the kindest heart and a willingness to love on those who don't deserve it. He is a help around the farm and assists in a lot of desensitizing with our animal training.  He likes to be a good distraction and helps dogs and horses make good decisions.

He is never one to say no to an animal that needs a home or a person in need. He is the best dad to our two boys, Louis and Miles, and I hope to have many years to come on our farm.

Then we have little Louis who is our firstborn son. He is a treasure and we are doing our best to raise him as a respectful, caring, kind, and brave man. With an enormous love of animals of course. He has already been on horseback multiple times and was on a horse by 5 days old. He is already a help around the farm and gets very upset if he's not part of daily tasks and animal care!

Then we have our second born son, Miles. He was born in our busy spring season. We had 15 puppies, when he arrived, and started having baby lambs the same month.  Baby boom. He is thrown right into the crazy of the farm and a big brother who loves him dearly already. He was on horseback by 6 days old and we can't wait for both the boys to tear around on their ponies, having a good old time. Our boys are so precious to us.

We love our little family and our farm. We hope to be a big impact in many lives through our work and through our love of Jesus. We hope to hear from you soon!

How We Named Our Farm

DSC_0383.jpg

We named our farm after my first horse that I owned. Lil's Sweet Breeze (Lizzy).

I have had a few horses over the years, but Lizzy was my first horse that was my own responsibility. My dad brought her home one day, she was in rough shape, having been negelcted and abused. Broke my heart to see her in such tough shape. But she had a kind heart and willingness to trust. You could even tell that she knew my dad had rescued her out of a bad situation. She had lost hair, lice, worms, bloody areas, and was hundreds of pounds under weight.

We helped her regain health and trust. She learned to be a pet, getting sassy and fat. Broke her in and now she is a steady hand on the farm. We love our Lizzy and she is the one who got my started in the horse industry. She inspired me, helped me learn, and gave me the opportunity to better myself as a horsewoman.

Now she gives trail rides and lessons to many people, gives my son and Aaron rides, and is always there on a bad day. She is old now, but still my sassy girl.
